Boutique Shopping
Port Fairy’s passionate traders have fashioned this village into a style in it’s own right. Here, shopping is enjoyable and entertaining and a touch quirky. Charming, old-world street houses a dynamic collection of ladies’ fashion boutiques offering fledgling labels, known brands and eclectic styles.
Be tempted by dresses, coats, casual pieces and beautiful bespoke jewellery. Browse homewares, antiques and body care. Pickup a unique gift for that special loved one or a classy keepsake for yourself. Discover your next favourite read in one of two book shops or simply browse to your heart’s content.
Coffee Culture
The cafe culture of Port Fairy is well established. The whole gamut of coffee experiences is here and we haven't forgotten tea drinkers, with choices of traditional, green or herbal infusions.
Cakes and sweet selections will tempt even the most iron willed visitors.

Locals
In 2012 Port Fairy was the winner of the World's Most Liveable Community 2012. Jim Doukas’ opening speech in Al Ain said approximately 3000 and swells to over 30,000 during the folk festival.
During summer you can expect the average temperature to be 22C and winter 14C - due to the position on the coast you can expect cool sea breezes generally each afternoon.
A small village, with a big heart, the locals will welcome you into their community.
